EMAIL SCAM - PLEASE READ…
There continues to be problems within the email world!!
DO NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS THAT APPEAR TO BE FROM YOUR EMAIL PROVIDER (MSN, HOTMAIL, YAHOO, ARVIG, WCTA, etc.) ASKING YOU TO VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION.
These companies, as well as your bank, PayPal and eBay, will never ask you to verify your account information via email. The process that they use is different: you will be sent an email telling you to verify your account, but you have to login into your account in order to do so. So, you go to paypal.com, ebay.com, hotmail.com, etc. then login. Once inside your account you will be asked to verify. If you we unable to login then your account password or username is incorrect so your account is not verified.
If it is your local internet provider or bank that is asking you to verify your account over an email, just give them a call and they will tell you if it is them that sent you an email about that. GENERALLY, JUST DELETE THE EMAIL, then attempt to login to your account to make sure it is there.
If you HAVE responded to the email, everyone in your address book will receive an email from your account asking for money or other services - tell them, via email or phone, to DELETE that email from your account. Also, you will no longer have access to your email account at this point and will have to setup a new account.
